In November, BBC Four brought back the long running Jazz 625 Live show for a one-off 90 minute special. Jazz 625: The British Jazz Explosion paid tribute to the iconic 1960 BBC2 show to celebrate the recent jazz resurgence by a London community of grassroots organisations.
The five camera shoot, filmed for two days at The Backstage Centre in Purfleet relied upon MCR’s Sony PMW-F55 cameras and a variety of Angenieux Optimo, Canon and Tokina lenses.
While Somethinelse took care of the front end of the shoot, all cameras were fed back to the Timeline TV Truck. Three of the cameras were fed back using three MCR Cam Racers supplied to Timeline.
